Dan’s Comp is a presenting sponsor of the BMX Society Old School Reunion and Show this weekend at Whittier Narrows BMX track in South El Monte, California.  The event showcases BMX history in the form of old school bikes from the 70s, 80s and 90s, as well as the presence of riders from the same era.  There are also races and freestyle demos for the modern crowd, so everyone is covered.  Old School, New School, all Cool!  There will be Dan’s Comp freebies and the bunny hop contest is presented by–yeah, you guessed it, Dan’s Comp!

Holy smokes, this one is just nuts…Dan’s Comp team riders Corey Martinez and Nathan Williams took a trip to Argentina with United not long ago and this seven minute video serves as documentation of all the madness that ensued.  This is one you’ll have to watch a couple times to even begin to comprehend.  Wild.

Filming for the upcoming Dan’s Comp Team DVD continues, with Stew Johnon on the road with the likes of Alex Magallan, Corey Martinez, Seth Kimbrough, Nathan Williams and Tony Hamlin sitting shotgun in the van for all of it.

Dan’s Comp team rider Stevie Churchill had a rough couple of weeks.  He broke his thumb, had to get stitches in his shin, then, as if that weren’t bad enough, he had his bike stolen from a 7-11 as his buddy was watching it.  Stevie’s buddy got a black eye and the bike is gone.  Bike thieves are the worst, especially violent ones.  On a positive note, Demoltion just released this awesome web edit from a recent trip through Northern California with Stevie and some of his Demolition team mates. Stevie kills it, as usual!

Ride BMX just posted a bike check and interview with Fit/Dan’s Comp team rider Raul Ruiz.  Raul explains that he likes a short bike because it feels like a “lil’ trick bike”, his seat height, going to NYC and filming for the upcoming Fit and Dan’s Comp DVDs.
