We are pleased to announce that street riding legend and perpetual innovator of technical BMX riding, Seth Kimbrough has signed on to ride for Dan’s Comp in 2012. Seth has been on our radar for years and now is the time to make it happen. Seth lives in Hartselle, Alabama, not far from his Dan’s Comp team mates Nathan Williams, Shane Weston and Corey Martinez, who are all a couple hours up I-65 in Nashville. Corey had this to say about his lifelong riding buddy joining the team: “Seth and I have never rode for the same company apart from the local bike shop back in the day–Crazy to think, right?! Now that he has joined the Dan’s Comp team we can stop talking about it every time we get together. Congrats Seth and welcome to the team! I can’t wait for the good times ahead!”
We are stoked to announce that Cincinnati’s own Tony Neyer has been added to the Dan’s Comp team for 2012. Tony has worked with the team in the past, doing autograph signings at events, having a bunch of solid clips in the Dan’s Comp Winter Tour edit (click the “videos” button to your right) and with his “dual residency” in Long Beach, California during the cold months as well as home in Ohio part of the year, he is representing two distinct parts of the country. Besides being a good dude, Tony is a savage on a BMX bike! Tony rides for Verde and Primo, and there are big plans in the works with Tony and the rest of the team for 2012. Here’s a funny Dan’s related childhood memory and some words about joining the team from the man himself:
“I remember being a kid and saving up for weeks to get money to give to my homies’ dad so that he could order my stuff out of the Dan’s Catalog. Looking back now it was a funny situation cause anyone could order from Dan’s, he just he made it seem like when he did it, the order would come faster. Really, everything usually came next day because it’s only 5 hours from my hometown. Dan’s Comp has been in my life as long as I’ve had a bike and I’m super stoked to get added to the team. Can’t wait to see what next year brings.”
Congratulations to Dan’s Comp team rider Chase Dehart on the birth of his son! With a name like Cash English Dehart it sounds like he’s ready to get down to business. Not much to say about about this new, full-length, online video from United, besides “HOLY CRAP!”. Easily one of the best edits of the year and not only that, but Dan’s Comp team riders Nathan Williams, Corey Martinez and Ryan Metro all destroy it in this video. Wow.

Shane Weston has been making moves all year, joining the Eclat and Fly Bikes teams, as well as becoming part of the Dan’s Comp team in July. We’re going to end out 2011 with a fresh new edit of Shane’s amazing riding from Vital BMX and by moving Shane from Flow to Pro on the Dan’s roster. Congrats on a great year, Shane!
