The Dan’s Comp race team had a (mostly) great weekend at the ABA National in Nashville, TN.   Matt Pohlkamp won the Vet Pro both days and Weston Pope took a third on Saturday in the Elite Mens class.   Justin Posey won the Jr. Mens class on both days and won the 17-18 expert class on Saturday, but crashed while leading that same class on Sunday, breaking his wrist.  Get well soon, Justin!

Dan’s Comp team whiz kid Brett Bansiewicz is constantly pushing BMX to new levels, this time with a 540 Flair (or a flat spin 900?) that is just nuts.   Brett’s new ramp park, The Kitchen (South Bend, Indiana) will be open to the public soon too!

The Texas Toast Jam went down this weekend in Austin, Texas and a bunch of Dan’s Comp team riders were on the scene. Morgan Long, Raul Ruiz, Hoang Tran and Ben Hucke all made the trip and got to ride the wildly creative setup that Taj Mihelich and the Odyssey crew put together.

Dan’s Comp team flatland man with many plans, Terry Adams, has been all over the place in the last couple of weeks. While in the Pacific Northwest, he did an interview with Seattle’s KOMO TV station.  Then, he appeared on the main page of the USA Today website in article about the Autumn Ramp Park in Joplin, Missouri, which is being used to help out after the devastating tornado there a week ago.  This weekend, Terry was at the Red Bull Battle at the Bricks contest in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he rode great in qualifying but couldn’t quite keep it going in the finals.  Photos and video from Ride BMX (more on the contest there too).
